Dominique Chagnon, DC
Dr. Dominique Chagnon graduated Cumme Laude from Life University in Marietta, GA in 1992. He was also one of the few who was selected to serve in the Senior X-ray Assistant program where he received extensive training in Radiology. Prior to studying at Life University, he attended Belhaven College where he was awarded a full tennis scholarship for the duration of his pre-med studies. Dr. Chagnon has been practicing for over 17 years. He has been in Ridgeland for 18 years. Since he began practicing chiropractic, Dr. Chagnon has kept up to date on many continuing educational classes, ensuring that his patients receive the most comprehensive and advanced chiropractic care. In addition to excelling in several different techniques, he has established strong relationships with various surgeons and other medical practitioners in most local hospitals. He has been a guest lecturer for several years at UMC where he strived to educate medical students and faculty members about Chiropractic care and its benefits. He is one of the first and few Chiropractic physician in the state that had the opportunity to work in a hospital setting with several neurosurgeons and other medical physicians. Philip Ivanov, DC
Dr. Philip Ivanov was born in Russia, but has lived in the United States since 1993. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Physiology from the University of Utah in 2005. He graduated Summa Cum Laude from Life University in March of 2009. Dr. Ivanov was one of the few students who had the opportunity to work in the Functional Rehabilitation department in Life University’s outpatient clinic throughout his entire course of study. He is currently one of the few Chiropractic physician certified in Active Release Technique (A.R.T.) of the Spine, Lower Extremity, and Upper Extremity. Active Release Technique is a movement based massage technique that commonly treats conditions such as: headaches, back pain, carpal tunnel syndrome, plantar fascitis, shin splints, and tennis elbow.
As a former collegiate tennis player, Dr. Ivanov is passionate about treating sport injuries and working with athletes. Since joining Action Chiropractic, he has worked with many runners in the area and volunteering his time at local 5K and half-marathon races. Dr. Ivanov is a member of the American Chiropractic Association and Ridgeland Chamber of Commerce.
